Mobile apps are underway

We're building apps for iOS and Android. Until they're ready, Fluxer works in your mobile browser, and we've put a lot of effort into making it feel as app-like as possible.

  • Add Fluxer to your home screen to hide the browser UI.
  • See badge counts on the app icon.

Install Fluxer as an app

Android

  1. Open the web app in Chrome
  2. Press the "More" (⋮) button in the top-right corner
  3. Press "Install app"
  4. Done! You can now open Fluxer from your home screen.

iOS and iPadOS

  1. Open the web app in Safari
  2. Press the share button (rectangle with upward-pointing arrow)
  3. Press "Add to home screen"
  4. Press "Add" in the upper-right corner
  5. Done! You can now open Fluxer from your home screen.

Desktop

  1. Open the web app in Chrome or another browser with PWA support
  2. Press the install button (downward-pointing arrow on monitor) in the address bar
  3. Press "Install" in the popup that appears
  4. Done! You can now open Fluxer as if it were a regular program.

This isn't a full replacement for the desktop app yet, and some things you'd expect from a mobile chat app are still missing.
